If you just want to try out the MLE please take a look at the demonstration page.
For testing the application on a mobile phone, you can try out Co4Mo (Communities for Mobiles), which uses the
MLE. Checkout http://co4mo.elibera.com for details and the download
section.

If you want to use the mobile client for your own projects, there are two possibilities:
- You want to use the client for Moodle, or
- You want to create your own mobile client, based on the MLE.
If you want to use Moodle client click here.
If you want to create your own mobile
client based on the MLE, you have to checkout the source-files from
sourceforge.net
and compile the client on your own. Check out the Wiki for help, how to do this.

If you want to use your own server software, you must compile it on your own. Read this tutorial on how to do this.
Please note: For MLE-Moodle it is not necessary to use a custom gateway or messaging server, you can use the public ones.
